Let’s Talk About Faith

In Scripture, faith is defined as follows: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1 ESV) Faith involves belief, trust, and follow-through. Assurance comes from God. So if you have real faith, you have a relationship with the Creator of Life, the ultimate One in Charge, the Author of Love and right living, the One who loves you enough to include you in His immediate family.

There’s a lot to talk about concerning faith! So I’m definitely going into more detail about what faith is, is not, how you’re involved, and how this relationship-thing works with God.

No, I’m not a pastor. I don’t have a ThD (like a PhD, but in theology). But ever since the baptism I received that got me more than just wet (there’s a story there), I have been a student of God’s Word. You can find my creds in the About section.

And no, I do not have all the answers. But I do have enough to help pack a faith seeker’s rucksack and set him or her off on a remarkable journey of faith!

So are you ready to talk about faith? Are you a believer ready to find the joy in your faith? Are you a seeker who’s ready to start packing your rucksack in anticipation of discovering how amazing our Lord truly is? Yes? Yes! Then let’s go! OK? OK. Good.
